Divorce

Child Custody

A parenting plan will tell the Court your proposal for where the child lives, how time is split among parents, and who gets to make important decisions regarding the child's education and healthcare.
Child Support
Washington state law provides that both parents have a legal duty to support their children. If you are the custodial parent, you may be entitled to child support to help cover childcare expenses like daycare, food, and clothing. We will help ensure you get any support you are entitled to.
Spousal Maintenance
The purpose of spousal maintenance is to provide financial assistance to a former spouse until they are able to earn a sufficient income on their own. Spousal maintenance depends on several factors like the length of the marriage, the standard of living established during the marriage, and the financial resources of the person seeking maintenance. We can help you determine if you are entitled to spousal maintenance.
Guardianship
Guardianship is a legal process that places a child in the care and custody of a non-parent. Whether you need help obtaining guardianship rights to a child or are a parent contesting a guardianship petition, we have the expertise and knowledge to assist you.
At Risk Youth (ARY) & Child in Need of Services (CHINS)
When parents and their children have conflict, the court can step in to provide help and connect the family to services. If your child is beyond your control, defying the rules of your home, or engaging in dangerous behavior, you may need help advocating for your rights as a parent.
